Saturday evening, October 13th 2012, TSAI (Tennessee Songwriters Association International) celebrated 30 years as a non profit organization serving songwriters with it’s 30th annual Awards Presentation and Banquet on Music Row at their headquarters in the Miller Harris Building. Following an exciting week including a workshop with Fred Vail of Treasure Isle Recording, a TSAI members showcase at historic Fiddle and Steel on Printer’s Alley and a Symposium Saturday morning with Bob Dellaposta and Billy Lee, TSAI members and guests walked the red carpet to an evening of entertainment, delicious food, and awards. TSAI Executive Director Kenny Angel MC’d the event with charm, humor, and enthusiasm! Keynote Hit Songwriters Ashe Underwood and Tommy Barnes entertained with lots of laughter and great hit songs! TSAI Songwriters Alayna Carroll, Jaiden Phelps, Dale Allen, Victoria Woodworth, Kenny Angel and Alex Gibson provided outstanding musical performances!
A total of ten awards were presented to TSAI members as voted by the membership and were presented by the TSAI Board of Directors and members of Nashville’s Music community.
TSAI congratulates all the nominees and winners and reminds us to “Say It With Music”©.
