This self-titled album, by Madonna Nash is a good mix of songs with great musicians and vocals to match. Nash was the winner of the 2010 Female Country Artist of the Year at the Carolina Music Awards. She wrote six of the songs on this thirteen track compliationof tunes and co-wrote on the rest. She rocks it out with “Swingin’ Door” (track seven) and puts the honky-tonk in country with track four, “Whiskey Whispers,” with killer lead guitar on it as well. “Out of Town” (track six) has a sultry blues feel to it.
