‘Good Morning America’ LIVE! from the CMA Awards in Nashville!

This Thursday, Nov. 1, “Country Music’s Biggest Night™” kicks off with Country Music’s Biggest Morning! It all starts with “Good Morning America” broadcasting LIVE from the home of the CMA Awards – Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena! Weather anchor Sam Champion is expected to host the Nashville portion of the broadcast, which will feature a musical performance by Reba and a special appearance by five-time CMA Awards hostBrad Paisley. Reba is expected to perform a few songs, including her most-recent chart-topper “Turn On The Radio” and the theme song for her new ABC sitcom “Malibu Country,” which premieres this Friday, Nov. 2 on the network.

Making the “Good Morning America” segment even more must-see is the reveal of winners in two of the 12 CMA Awards categories! For the first time ever, winners ofMusic Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year will be revealed on “Good Morning America!” Category winners will receive their honor in Pre-Telecast ceremonies streaming live on CMAawards.com at 7:30|6:30 PM/CT, ahead of the 8|7c start time for the CMA Awards on ABC.

“Each year we announce our final nominees on ‘Good Morning America’ and now we have the opportunity to announce two of our winners,” said Steve Moore, Chief Executive Officer of CMA. “GMA is a terrific supporter of the CMA Awards and Country Music. I can’t think of a better way to jump start the day as we lead up to ‘The 46th Annual CMA Awards’ broadcast on ABC.”
