Mitch Goudy Sets up Camp with an Exclusive Deal with STAY OUTDOORS

Chart-topping new country artist and avid outdoorsman, Mitch Goudy, has joined forces withSTAY OUTDOORS, a premier website that assembles outdoor vacations for nature fans.
STAY OUTDOORS, which will officially be launched later this year, will provide those travelers who want to “stay outdoors” by arranging outdoor vacations. This website will find campsites, cabins, houseboat rentals or even hunting and fishing expeditions for those outdoor enthusiasts in the vacation spot they choose.
With a tagline like, “Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can STAY OUTDOORS?”, founders Sarah & Mike Jirak have always enjoyed adventurous traveling, but became frustrated with the lack of available information and difficulty in booking stays at campgrounds and resorts across America. This experience led to their quest to begin collecting those details for the tens of thousands of campgrounds and resorts in North America, with future expansion abroad.
“I’ve written many of my best songs at a little cabin out in the middle of nowhere that I’ve been going to for years,” said Goudy. “For me, it’s all about finding a quiet place to collect my thoughts. This is an exciting opportunity and I’m honored to be endorsed by STAY OUTDOORS.”
“Mitch Goudy is the perfect partner for STAY OUTDOORS as he combines both the love of country music with a strong passion for the outdoor life,” said co-founder Sarah Jirak. This announcement marks STAY OUTDOORS first ever partnership with an artist. As part of the endorsement, Mitch will be appearing in their upcoming national marketing campaign, at tradeshows and in local and national commercials.
With previous hits, Blow These Speakers Out, Ain’t My Fault (official music video on CMT.com andVEVO), and most recently, My Girl’s Hand, Goudy is getting great recognition with his latest album#ROWDIE. He has been called “the new Brad Paisley,” “one of country music’s bright new stars,” and “the mainstream Michael Buble.” As a featured artist for the second year in a row at CMA Music Festival this summer and one of CMA’s ‘Who New To Watch’ artists, he got the chance to meet fans each day at his booth in the Fan Fair X Exhibit Hall, sign autographs and also perform nonstop throughout the week in venues around Nashville. Goudy is also infusing fashion with country music through his first endorsement deal with STRUT Apparel– a high end fashion label.
Goudy has a great relationship with his ever expanding group of devoted fans “Goudy’s Rowdies.” He hangs out every Thursday evening on the free fan membership site www.goudysrowdies.com. He also gets his fans involved in his career and hosted a #ROWDIEPARTY fan video contest and awarded the winners with their own #ROWDIEPARTY in their hometown. He also recruited his fans to submit photos for his lyric video for My Girl’s Hand.
Hailing from the cornfields of southeast Iowa, Goudy grew up with a sense of pride about who he is and a strong notion of what he believes. His interest in country music began when he first picked up a guitar after suffering a traumatic knee injury that would forever limit his ability to play sports. His dad bought him that first guitar, put it in his hands and said, “Let’s see what you can do.” At that moment, Goudy found his passion and never gave up on it. Since then, he’s been rocking stages large and small across the country. For more information, visit www.MitchGoudy.com,www.goudysrowdies.com and Facebook at www.facebook.com/MitchGoudy.
About Stay Outdoors: “Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can STAY OUTDOORS?” Stay Outdoors.com will be the premier website and app for arranging outdoor vacations, finding campsites, cabins, houseboat rentals or even hunting and fishing expeditions via their website or app, upon its launch in late 2015. Founders Sarah & Mike Jirak have always enjoyed traveling the world in an adventurous way but were frustrated with the lack of available information and difficulty in booking stays at campgrounds and resorts across America. Sarah began searching for a website like those already popularized by the hotel and vacation rental industry, then quickly realized that it just wasn’t out there. Not only was the information not collected or organized in any cohesive manner, but much of the information she discovered was out-of-date, incomplete, or just plain incorrect. This experience led to the Jiraks’ quest to begin collecting details for the tens of thousands of campgrounds and resorts in North America, with future expansion abroad. This provides those travelers who want to “stay outdoors” a better connection to the locations and destinations.
