The live broadcast is just a part of the promotion, scheduled to begin October 15th and go through December 31st. During that time, Renegade Radio will be giving away 25 $50 Disney gift cards to qualified listeners, who will then be entered into a drawing for the grand prize package – roundtrip airfare for four, a four-night stay at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, four Walt Disney World® Resort Magic Your Way 5-Day Park Hoppers®, and airport transfers and on-property transportation – all valued at nearly $7,000.00.
“In a broadcast first for the resort, Walt Disney World® will partner with Internet radio powerhouse Renegade Radio Nashville to broadcast the grand opening of New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom®,” said Frank LoBono, Relationship Marketing Manager for Disney Parks and Disney Destination Marketing. “Knowing that Captain Jack and Renegade Radio have not only the U.S. covered, but foreign countries as well, we’re excited that we can bring the message to those markets and those Internet listeners that we would normally not reach. We’re so thrilled to have Captain Jack and Renegade Radio on board. I mean, what would a Disney Park be without Captain Jack?”
The recently remodeled New Fantasyland “…will be unlike anything our guests have encountered in the past. Not only have our Imagineers fully immersed you more into the stories of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, but the addition of Storybook Circus with the interactive queue for the ‘doubled’ Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction, New Fantasyland will likely be a sure hit with our guests,” said LoBono.
