The love of music has been part of his life since he was a small child. He has toured and performed with major recording artists through out his career and now, after all these years of paying his dues with karaoke bars, out door events, and opening for artists like Toby Keith, Destin is ready to produce some chart topping hits with producer Chad Carlson. Carlson has produced artist such as Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood, and the movie soundtrack for Walk The Line.
Roofer by trade and musician from the heart Destin Bennett is truly living his dream. He continues today to work in his construction business while playing music every other free moment. Known to his family and friends as “The Singing Roofer” he is always singing and can he sing…Wow. We are excited to see a full length album soon from this artist.
His single “Gods Gotta Be Somewhere” is now available on Itunes. It is a country Christian style song that shares a positive message on keeping life real and a second single called “State I’m In” is also available on Itunes. “State I’m In” is about a break up and how a guy is trying to find himself again and wondering where the love of his life has gone. Hence, his state of mind.
Destin will be in Nashville for a meet and greet at various locations through out the downtown area during CMA Fest and says his inspiration for his music comes from the fans. He says he hopes the music will bring them out of their heads and in to the real world and a good living. His aim is to share his love of music and help others to be happy.

Major influences on Destin’s music are Garth Brookes, Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt and the infamous Otis Reading. Bennett has appeared at the Buck Board Showcase in GA and was taken under the wing of Mark Wills who helped Destin hone his talents and was eventually taken on as a full time artist. He was just 11 years old when he began performing for the Buck Board Showcase full time.
In association with his work with Chad Carlson, he worked with vocal coach Renee Grant-Williams and currently Destin is managed by L3 Entertainment. L3 Entertainment has promoted artists Justin Moore, Dustin Lynch, and Jordan Rager.
Destin has opened for T. Graham Brown, he has performed at various venues in Nashville including: World Renowned Tootsie’s, Red Rooster, Silver Dollar, Hard Rock Cafe, and The Nashville Palace.
His accolades include presentations from the The Atlanta GA. Society of Entertainers:
Horizon Male Vocalist of the Year 1999, Future Star Award 2000, and Male Vocalist of the Year 2013. He also received the 2011 CRS (Country Radio Seminar) Chief Editors Choice alongside Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan for Nashville Music Guide.
