Composer Randy Edelman will perform at the Josie Music Awards held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville playing his music on Sunday October 27, 2024 in celebration of the show’s 10th Anniversary. He will also be honored on the same stage with The Legendary Music Award for his contribution to music in nearly every facet musically possible.
As a composer Randy has created the soundtracks for over 100 films and television shows (My Cousin Vinny, Last of the Mohicans, MacGyver) and has written songs covered and recorded by iconic artists including Barry Manilow, Patti LaBelle, Olivia, Newton-John, Nelly, The Carpenters, and a barrage of others. Many of his recorded songs stand out as an arc of humanity including his global hit “Everything is Possible“ “Apres Covid”, and his newest inspirational song “Birds of Freedom.”
The Josie Music Awards are the largest, most respected, revered award and prestigious, events and association in the independent music industry. They will be celebrating their 10th Anniversary on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum followed by the award ceremonies on Sunday October 27, 2024 at The Grand Ole Opry House, all in Nashville, TN.

Randy’s new single “Birds of Freedom” is now available worldwide which is a prelude to his new album “Waltzing On A High Wire” which will be released in September.
