Ashley McBryde set out with a group of her favorite collaborators to work up a project they had no intention of ever recording or releasing. What came from that weeklong songwriting exercise in a rural cabin outside Nashville is Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville, a distilled version of everything that listeners have come to appreciate from McBryde: raw, honest, specific portraits of small-town America, and the many characters that you may encounter in any one of them. The project tips its hat to the writing methods of legendary Nashville songwriter Dennis Linde (“Goodbye Earl,” “Burning Love,” “Bubba Shot the Jukebox”). It was released in full on Friday, Sept. 30 via Warner Music Nashville, pre-order for Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville is available now at Lindeville(lnk.to). “I just hope that when a few, even just a handful, of people listen to the record and it ends with the line ‘Nothing but stars over Lindeville,’ they put their hands over their heart and say, ‘What a nice trip that was,’” offers McBryde. RISING STAR NEWS:
Majestic Ape Music singer/songwriter and country recording artist Lauren Reno celebrates the long-awaited release of her sophomore album Gold Rush. The 11-song recording project (produced by husband/manager/co-writer Ben Reno) is available now via all digital retail and streaming platforms. Recorded at Majestic Ape Studios, Soul Train Studios and Pentavarit Studios in Berry Hill, TN, the truthful album (with track titles such as “Me And The Neon,” “White Lies” and “Crooked Smile”) serves up spirited vocal performances driven by emotional electricity and a punchy edge. The original musical compositions are nostalgic recollections that resemble romantic chapters of an old west story—with the heart-centered in a Midwest desert and hints of scenic southern backdrops scattered throughout. Live, raw and organic instrumental moments spotlight guitar and percussion vintage tones, haunting steel guitar, western twang electrics, and a chamber string section reminiscent of Roy Orbison. “These songs are my personal stories cultivated over time,” Lauren Reno said. “This album is my treasure box; I hope every listener can discover a little nugget they feel akin to.” More at https://laurenrenomusic.com/, https://www.facebook.com/LaurenRenoMusic/ and Instagram (@laurenrenomusic)
