Los-Angeles Hip Hop Artist Badari Releases New EP Titled “Dream Journal”

I must say that all five songs from the EP are exceptional. The first song was “Things I See In My Dream,” and the reason I chose this one first is that I am a lucid dreamer. I dream extremely vivid dreams and this collection was a special treat for me. It has a super sharp melody that travels the rhythm and rapper trail. The trail is full of colorful falsetto tones and the pallet is rich with golden embers. It talks of being bigger, better and bolder.

“The Day After Tomorrow” begins with a short dialogue, and it moves into a hip hop moving melodic sound with twists and turns that ring true for today’s culture.

This collection ponders what if’s and what fore’s and the tearing down and building up of emotions and never-ending fears and anxiety in the rat race called life.

“Ocean” begins with a smooth and quiet vocal but the lyrics pull you in just as the tide pulls you into an ocean of blue. The flow is solid, right on the beat and has great movement.

Badari gives it his all and is probably one of the most notable Indian American musicians and writers currently in the industry. He was born in Bangalore, India and immigrated with his mother to America where they settled in the great state of Texas. He was just three years old at the time. Badari, also known as B.A.D., became a naturalized citizen and relocated often, due to his mothers’ job. This moving around the country played a huge roll in the style of what would later become Badari’s musicianship.

The pallet of this collection is filled with musical color, flow, harmonious texture and is truly a lyrical work of art. “House Of Mirrors” is magical with its supernatural flavor of synths.

“When A Tree Falls” is polished and very tastefully fitting within the groove. The entire collection could stand well alone as individual singles but supports each other gorgeously as a whole.

Badari made friends quickly and conquered new music markets just as fast as he discovered them. He released his first indie recording at the age of 18, 2011, when he introduced “From Start to Finish”, an underground demo he made that surely caught the attention of famed artists Young Money boss, and Lil Wayne.

With the start of a new budding career at his feet, he then released his second project called ‘Uncaged”. This collection was downloaded over 50,000 times on one of the most popular music hosting sites called, datPiff. It redefined the game when it came to how full-length original music was released in that way and made Badari someone to watch for future releases. Then, just a short year later he presented his third mixtape, “A Journey Beyond” that amassed an even larger fan base for the young artist.

Badari took a short sabbatical but he’s back in full swing and we are happy to share his music with you today.

Badari comes to us a true and solid hitting hip hop, pop, artist and has been likened to other entertainers such as BIG, Mac Miller, and Justin Bieber. This collection was produced by tunnA Beatz.

He is a sincere entertainer and his passion for his trade is apparent in the sounds, melodies, and lyrics or his work. For more information on Badari, you can visit the sites below.
