Along with Chris, Nashville native Jas Patrick who just a few months ago released his album “Inky Ovine” to exceptional reviews, is making head way in the industry. Jas, short for Jasonius has been enjoying the art of music since he was four years old. His family has been in the industry for many years when his father worked with country artist Clint Black. His new 6 track album is gritty and personable, his voice is unique and distinctive. We are very happy to include Jas Patrick in our best of 2015 and look forward to featuring him again in the new year.

Craig Wayne Boyd
Craig Wayne Boyd

Craig Wayne Boyd is the winner of “The Voice”…these words were not only heard but screamed nation wide as Craig took home the title and the trophy of one of the most popular shows on NBC. He is a local star in Nashville and has earned his title. For those who know him they will attest that he has remained true to those who helped him get there. Recently engaged and making the announcement that he and his fiance are expecting their first child, fans are over joyed. Craig is currently touring the US and promoting his latest song “I’m Still Here.”

Sir Cadian Rhythm is out of this world. Really loved this group and their sound. We are happy to include them in our 2015 Best of in Nashville Music Guide.

~No holds bared these guys are the real deal with meaning and purpose in their music. This Long Island alternative rock/jazz/pop quintet are exceptional. With a diverse set of talented performers. From theatrical performers to poets, from music teachers to graduates of Julliard, this is one amazingly talented mix of award winning inspirations. ~ Sherryl Craig, Lyrics N Legends~

This group has such a diverse background and mix of talents and their self titled album is proof of it. Their ability to take you from rock to pop, to classical and back to jazz is proof of the caliber and scale of talent you’ll find in this group. Congratulations on being selected as part of our Best of 2015.

Matthew Morgan from Ohio brings us “Empathy For Inanimate Objects.” His rendition of “Hold On I’m Coming” is divine. The original release date was 1966 and Sam and Dave were forging a career that would make them iconic. Matthew has truly done them justice. Music has long be part of his life, his mother was an award winning pianist and vocal coach and his grandfather a professional saxophonist during the big band era. Having a rough go with health issues early on in his career he wasn’t quite sure where the music career would take him but he joined forces with some outstanding people in the entertainment industry and has made quite a name for himself. Nominated for at least three Indie Music Channel awards his work is associated with Discovery Network, Disney Channel, and Viacom. Congrats on being part of our 2015 Best of the best.

~His exquisite way of interweaving bits and pieces of folk blended with such a texture of other genres to make one very unique and compelling genre of it’s own. Folk Country Rock.

I could listen all day and all night. “Empathy for Inanimate Objects has become my mantra for writing. It is, I do believe, the best album I’ve reviewed this year. Exceptionally done.~ Sherryl Craig, Lyrics N Legends

Jude Toy and Erinn Bates The Darlins
Jude Toy and Erinn Bates
The Darlins

The dynamic duo “The Darlins, Jude Toy and Erinn Bates. These beautiful ladies have had a super, fast paced year. Touring with major artist such as Trace Atkins and Joe Nichols, the Darlins are set to release their new video “Crush” in January. Jude and Erinn are country rocking Nashville, the USA, and all parts in between. Along with the January release for Crush they will be announcing previews and live stream with behind the scenes looks at the song and filming of the video. Their song “FAST” from the same EP is up for nomination into Florida’s Big Country Top 20 Countdown. The Darlins have definitely earned a spot in the Best of 2015 for NMG.

Chloe Baker
Chloe Baker

Chloe Baker is one of my all time favorites. Her voice is a unique blend of expressive and heartfelt natural ability and her outlook on the world of music is inspiring. She’s young, with a wish and a dream and if she continues on the path she’s on I think she’ll be in the music industry for a life time. Her album “Bitters Kiss” is unique and dynamic. Her voice is one of those that when you first hear her you will remember it’s her every time you hear it again. This album has a focus on real life situations that so many young people and people of all ages, sometimes face. It is powerful and edgy.

Kevin Jenkins
Kevin Jenkins

Kevin Jenkins with “Til The Stories Told” is one I will keep high on the best of the best list. “Echo Sparks” was really one of my all time favorites. It was like closing your eyes and actually watching a vintage movie with an superb musical score. No doubt Kevin has created a one of a kind collection that will be on the watch list for some time.

And in conclusion we must not forget our own NMG’s Preshia Harris with Inside Track and Lucky 13 coming straight to you from our talented Amanda Kelly.
