Power Players from Film, TV and Music Come Together in Nashville


The 14th Annual Conference for Screenwriters, Songwriters and others interested in the entertainment industry grows bigger and better this year.
 
The premier entertainment industry conference, the Nashville Screenwriters Conference is gearing up for it’s fourteenth annual event at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN on June 1-3, 2012. The enormously successful, open-to-the-public conference brings Hollywood’s top writers, producers, directors, managers, agents and other studio executives to Nashville to provide aspiring screenwriters, songwriters and other individuals interested in the world of film, TV and music the opportunity to network, learn and explore the inner-workings of Hollywood. The event brings together people from all across the United States and Canada who are finding creative ways to achieve their passion for writing.
Highlights at this year’s conference include: The ROBOTARD THEATER 8000, “The Reality of Reality Television: What Works and Why” workshop, Anastasia Brown’s Music in the Movies Luncheon & Panel and a VIP Party & Guitar Pull with award winning musical artists.
The event consists of a three-day conference and an optional panel workshop called,Music in the Movies. The Music in the Movies workshop is on Saturday, June 2nd. This luncheon and workshop takes place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and was founded by 821 Entertainment Group President, Anastasia Brown (Footloose, August Rush, Taken). The panel will feature advice from top music supervisors for songwriters, composers, artists and publishers hoping to tap into the world of song placement in television and film.  This year, Brown asked Music Supervisors, Julia Michels (Sex and the City 1&2, The Blind Side, The Devil Wears Prada), Frankie Pine (Army Wives, GCB, Magic Mike), Randy Spendlove (President of Music at Paramount) and many more still being added to participate in this year’s conference.
