This collection is high energy, rocking madness with a superb dose of mania.

“Dinosaurs” is super. Loved the heavy synth and liquid guitar. Love, love the distortion and the way it’s used to enhance the vocals with “Weird Little Minds” and entranced at how “You Will Go” begins with an epic take of Bowie. Could be one of my favorites on this collection. It also brought visions of Interview With a Vampire and Lost Boys. It had me grasping the urge to grab junk food and watch a Gothic marathon for the weekend with this soundtrack playing in the background.

“All Is As It Should Be” snapped me from my Gothic weekend back to modern day rock with a hefty dose of blazing rock guitars and vocals that brought to mind Ozzie on a tangent.

Each band member has a very unique history both personal and in the business. No fell in love with playing the guitar at the early age of five, he began playing in a band at 11, later in life he became a sessions player and producer. DeKay better known as David Kendrick has performed professionally nearly his entire life. He has either performed with or been a member of several iconic bands like Devo, Empire of Fun and Sparks.

Guinevere Q is the bass player. She is an activist, a published poet, award winning composer and plays music full time. She graduated with a degree in Psychology performed with Doctor Striker and is outstanding in her musical gifted talent. Young Sun has performed on several studio albums, studied music at Foothill College in Los Altos, CA and Schubert Ola, from Moscow Russia studied to be a concert pianist, then studied medicine, became a doctor and now is a member of her first rock band……Revolushn.

The last but not least song was “Time+Travel=Time” and I say last but not least because it is just as powerful as all the songs on this album and being last on the track list it will only leave you wanting more. Hard and driving right out of the gate. No holding back.

If you are a heavy metal, Gothic, rock and roll maniac then this is a collection for you. You’ll find something to satisfy your hunger for head banging, hard driving rock. Vocals are powerful, lyrics are enticing, drawing you in to listen intently for every word, and instrumentally these guys are the bomb.

In the official video for “Dog Got High” there was a line that really set the whole thing off…..”Wake Up…Wake Up to Reality…” That is so true. We really need to wake up.

In a recent interview when asked about the bands message, if any, and band member No responded in kind to the Fresh Committee, “BE FREE. We want to say you can do anything you want because the universe is larger than s**t. We sing about space and life in this fluid world. You never know what will happen so be happy and nice to other humans and animals.” ~ No, of the band Revolushn ~

You must remember this is my own personal opinion but after living in the business for over twenty years, I have seen and heard a lot of bands. Revolushn, I do believe has started a new “Revolution” in the industry. It’s just out right, damn good, rock. Embrace it. You’ll be glad you did.
