BMI songwriters are back on the BMI Stage at Gulf Shores, Alabama, during Hangout Fest May 20-22! The storied BMI Mermaid Stage, the go-to hot spot for music discovery at the festival, will include up-and-comers like “sing-jay-guitarist” Koffee, folk-rocker Briston Maroney, rising R&B artist and rapper Audrey Nuna, Gospel, R&B, hip-hop, jazz and pop all-in-one act Bren Joy, singer/songwriter beabadoobee, breakout country songwriter Breland, acoustic pop to alt-rock to pop-punk’s Renforshort, Nashville-based songwriter/producer Hastings, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, performer, and bass virtuoso Blu DeTiger, breakthrough singer, songwriter, and musician Joy Oladokun, all country all the time singer/songwriter Paul Cauthen and hip-hopper Tre’ Amani.
Known as a launching pad for music careers, the BMI Stage at Hangout has previously hosted performances by names like St. Paul + the Broken Bones, Shakey Graves (2014); Elle King, Halsey, The Lone Bellow (2015); Greta Van Fleet, Anderson East (2018); and Morgxn and Jade Bird (2019). This year’s headliners include Kane Brown, Maren Morris, Halsey and Elle King.
