Reviver Records Singer Songwriter Michael Tyler Introduces 317

Born in Thayer, Missouri, self taught to play music at the age of 8 and writing by the age of 13 Michael Tyler has kicked off a great start to a life long career. As a young teenager Reviver Records recording artist Michael Tyler was already a talented songwriter and was discovered by a producer who was working with artists such as Jason Aldean. After a few years of advice and support from producer Michael Knox, Tyler decided to come to Nashville and played a knock out performance at the legendary Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.

He created a name for himself as a songwriter and had his music recorded by several heavy hitters in the industry. Jason Aldean, LoCash, and he co-wrote a song with Dirks Bentley “Somewhere On A Beach”, that Bentley went on to record. After digging in and making a rock steady career in the songwriting business he then branched out in to the live performance part of his talents.

Inspired by John Meyer, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean, Michael has the gift to tip toe through various genre’s and make a huge mark. He is a country boy at heart and home but he has the ability to cross over as well. His ability to rock along with passion for creative expression has made him a rising star in a short period of time. Michael pulls his inspiration from conversations with friends, past life experiences, and life in general.

He has written several songs for superstar artist Jason Aldean, “Laid Back” that appeared on the platinum selling album Old Boots New Dirt, he penned three songs on the album “The Fighters” by LoCash (“Shipwrecked,” “Ain’t Startin Tonight” and “Moonwalkin”).

Michael is a hugely talented young songwriter, Since signing with Reviver Records, we’ve mentioned time and again that the industry would quickly find out about Michael’s talents as both a writer and musician, and it looks as though it’s already happening!” ~Reviver Records President David Ross~ Music Row

Micheal is a descendant of the late great “Father of Country Music” Jimmie Rodgers, he comes by his talent naturally as it seems to have been passed down a few generations. He is currently touring and promoting his new album 317 and his most recent single, “They Can’t See.” His song “Crazy Last Night” made it’s world premiere on CMT and was selected as Billboard’s Country Songs of the Summer Picks, and in October of 2016 he was presented with the SESAC Song of the Year award for “Somewhere On A Beach.”

They Can’t See” demonstrates a knack for hooks and a boy-next-door vocal quality that fits into both party songs and youthful ballads.

Music is difficult in the respect that more people are losing interest in what music stands for. It is a UNIVERSAL language that we can all understand. It says everything that we ourselves cannot always express to one another. Please keep music alive and thanks to all those that are supporting me!” ~Michael Tyler ~
