Here’s a sneak peek into what Zivix is going to be showing off during Summer NAMM in Nashville. The jamstik has real strings, real frets and a light-sensing fretboard that gives real-time feedback to musicians. It connects wirelessly to iOS devices, and boasts MIDI capabilities to generate the sound of virtually any instrument. It can easily fit into a carry-on, letting you jam in the middle seat on a plane! It’s also compatible with hundreds of apps like Logic Pro, Animoog, KORG iPolysix to name a few. While not intended to replace a traditional guitar, it’s designed to be an additional tool in the musician’s arsenal, and entice a new generation of tech savvy musicians by showing them the art of plucking strings.
The PUC is a wireless link that connects MIDI compatible musical instruments with iOS devices via Wi-Fi, providing seamless music creation. It integrates with MIDI keyboards, drum pads, DJ controllers, floor pedal controllers and more for ultimate portability and to minimize cable clutter. It’s also designed to seamlessly fit into your existing setup and can leverage your existing iOS apps.
