Contemporary Rock Artist Randal Branham Releases New EP Called “Simple”

This amazing 15 track EP contains a wide range of stunning alternative rock expressions, undaunted vocals, and remarkable melodies.

Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia Brandham spent most of his life making Titusville Florida his home. He has been playing the piano since he was six years old. In fact he spent so much time with the piano his father had to put a padlock on it to encourage him to focus on school and athletics for awhile.

Though he made that step to focus on his academics and sports…the piano was his hearts passion and soon he defeated the lock and embraced his determination to play. He studied classical musical at Eastern State College, studying piano of course and then further completed his training for voice lessons at Rollins College. After his college studies he was then drawn to more modern and popular based piano style music.

Over the years he has received many accolades for his original creations including Billboard best song contest for “Kid.” He received and honorable mention for his song “Wonderful” and the International Song Writers award for “Fly Away.” He appears regularly at Disney Springs and other venues in Florida.

His performance are most often solo while he performs his own songs or those he has co-written and of course performing solo on the piano. Some of his greatest influences have come from artists like Elton John and One Republic. Truly his style is unique to his soul and there is simply no way to categorize him. If we had to place his in a genre or style it might be soft pop, soft rock, or Adult Contemporary.

Please enjoy the link below for his video “Touching Down” and stay tuned for the release of “Man To Man” on YouTube on October 9.

Musicians performing on the EP are Randal Branham, vocals and piano, Nate Anderson on saxaphone, and Gilbert Dhennin on soprano sax and Ewi. Then there is Denise Acerra for flute, Alton Atherton on bass and Minet Gregory coming in with backup vocals. Last but surely not least is Napoleon Baca on lead guitar and Jose Luis Castillo on acoustic guitar. This is a great line up of talented musicians. This EP is on the Vadia Vinyl label and was produced by Alberto Ochoa.

“Simple to Extreme” is an up tempo, fast paced song with a cool jazz texture, while “Man To Man” and “Who Is The Lady” bring in ballads of the heart and emotion. You’ll find cool dance mix tunes like “Go Out” and beautiful song of reflection with the tune called “Walking” that was released in August as a single and accompanied with video. Branham’s true expressions of raw emotion are shared with each lyric and passionate note. His vocals are strong and confident and draw you in to the romantic and then at times spirited recitation.

I enjoyed “Fly Away” with the empyrean grace of Celtic style and expression. This collection is a lifetimes crowning touch dedicated to a genuine and sophisticated talent.

In October of 2017 Branham performed his song “Man To Man” which was co-written with lyricist Karen Brandon at the Pride Parade in Orlando Florida. This illuminating and inspiring song frameworks the daunting struggles that face universal equality and ultimately radiates with hope that love will bring unblemished empowerment.
