Curtis Braly’s new single “Hate Me” showcases his silvery smooth voice throughout. With the slow melody his voice is light and inviting.
The lyrics are raw and full of emotions country music knows all too well. This song is about still being in love with your ex and having to see them everywhere, not to mention still being cordial. He is saying that it would be a lot easier to get over her if she would just hate him. This song is all about finding a way to get over a love. A story that almost everyone can relate to at some point. The melody is slow, keeping the music from over powering his voice. There’s a balance within this song that you don’t hear much anymore. It’s not about over powering drums or guitars, it’s about the story. Beautifully executed.
Curtis Braly is a life long musician. He shares his love for music with his entire family. Curtis started out his music career working in radio and has since ventured onto making his own music for people to love. Recently, he shared the stage with Dolly Parton. His musical inspirations are some of country music’s best with Reba, Kenny Rogers, and Garth Brooks on the list of many more. Curtis Braly is surely and artist to watch for.
