New release from The Torn Images….California’s alternative, independent rock band presenting “Reviver” will dwell well with most all rock/pop, indie enthusiasts. With two albums presently under their belts their pop and jagged rifts of guitars are sure to entice you. Briand Arabaca and Jayson Thompson began this dynamic duo with influences from alternative rock, indie folk rock, and 80’s British romantic movement.
In 2013 Jayson officially left the band and The Torn Images became Briand’s alter ego/persona. He is The Torn Images.
The intro to the album..“The Drifting” reminds me of early Metallica and maybe Alice in Chains. Hard driving guitar and synth in the echo are strong and could be an early 80’s slash rock band. Awesome.
What could be best described as eclectic alternative rock you’ll find heavy metal rock guitar and percussion. Listeners have described to me they here a taste of Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie so there will be a large selection of fans coming on board. The range is broad and bold.
With collaboration from some of California’s most sought after musicians… Braind has created a masterpiece of rock and musical magic. His vision is growing by leaps and bounds.
To be placed in the class with these iconic legendary bands around the world is a huge honor. Making his own mark and creating a truly unique and one of a kind sound that is a signature sound “The Torn Images” will captivate you and unleash a new freedom with music.
“Reviver” is the third album for Torn Images but one that is set apart from the others with an excitement far surpassing the rest. This album is award winning. It conforms to none of the norms and yet blows fans away with it’s edgy and alternative rock perfection.
